Our new Children and Families worker Amanda Lynch has joined St. James’ and St. Peter’s with a focus on work on the Westfield estate and local schools.
The safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults and those who work with them is of paramount importance. The St James’ Parochial Church Council is committed to the safeguarding, care and welfare of these groups within our Church community. We follow the Bath and Wells Diocese Safeguarding Policy and Procedures and all those who work (voluntary and paid) with these groups have enhanced checks and clearances obtained through the national Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) process. Further information on this may be obtained from our Appointed Safeguarding Officer – Mike Cox on 01935 476304.
