Supporting St James’

Why give?

We get no additional funds from the Church of England, or anywhere else. All our income comes from church members, or our own fundraising activities.

Our income is used to pay our parish share – which funds clergy and training, plus other support from from the Diocese, to pay wages, maintain the building, for outreach to the community and to support other charities including our four Mission Partners.

For more information about this please see the leaflet below.

How to Give

We are now charged by the bank for processing cash and cheques. Please can we encourage regular givers to use standing orders or bank transfers where possible. This also helps with our financial planning.

Regular and one-off Donations

To set up a standing order, please contact the Parish Office or download a standing order form here:

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, it is easy to gift aid your donations. This means we can claim an extra 25% on top of your giving. Please contact the Parish Office for a gift aid declaration form or download one here:
