If you would normally give to St James’ via the collection plate or envelopes, there are a number of ways you can continue to support the church during this time. Please consider whether you would be able to make a regular donation via standing order or, alternatively donate via the Givt app. If you are a UK taxpayer, we may be also able to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
Regular and one-off Donations
To set up a standing order, or for other methods to donate, please use the Contacts form or contact the Parish Office*.
If you would like to donate regularly, or make a one-off donation using the Givt app, this video explains how it works. Donations can be made by selecting the church from a list of churches, or by scanning this QR code. Don’t forget to register for Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer and able to do so.
Donations can also be made via JustGiving and you can increase the amount we receive by you registering for Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.
Give As You Shop… without it costing a penny more!
We’ve also registered St James’ Church, Yeovil with #easyfundraising, which means over 4,000 shops and sites (including Amazon, EBay, John Lewis and many others) will now donate to us for FREE every time you use #easyfundraising to shop with them. These donations will help SO MUCH, so please sign up to support us – it’s completely FREE and doesn’t take long. Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk. We also get £5 for everyone who signs up!
Another way to support St James’ while doing your Christmas shopping is to sign up to Amazon Smile (find us under the name The Parochial Church Council Of The Ecclesiastical Parish Of St James The Great, Yeovil) – this again means we receive a donation as you shop online with Amazon.
