Movement Worship

Our young people join with others from around Yeovil to worship together every couple of months at Movement Worship.

Spree

Every year, in June, our Youth team takes a group of young people away for the weekend to Spree South-West – a fun youth camp with fun activities, worship and fellowship. It is the highlight of the youth year. See what they got up to this year!

Schools

Primary

We have strong links with our local church school Preston Primary, with Kingfisher Primary on the new Agusta Park and Oaklands Primary School in the parish. Children from the primary schools come for visits to St James’ and our clergy visit the schools regularly.

Secondary

Christian Unions run by our youth worker with other local church youth leaders take place at lunchtimes in both the secondary schools in our parish Westfield Academy and Preston Academy.

Baby Loss Awareness

Every year on 15th October, we host a memorial service for SANDS Wave of Light for bereaved families affected by the loss of a baby.
